Symptoms rash cough, fever cough rash children
Normally, rashes occur when some inflammatory agents come into contact with the child's skin, which is not a serious problem to worry about. But if the rashes are accompanied with a cough and fever, this might create a major issue. The severity and longevity of the symptoms must be closely monitored and any additional symptoms need to be determined. This will give a clue if the paediatrician of the child is needed to be called.

Common causes of the baby rash and cough might be allergies, fifths disease and scarlet fever. The frequent cause however is the allergy that affects the body parts of the infant when there is a contact with the allergen. In rare cases, the cough and rash is caused by the fifth disease which is a harmless illness, affecting the cheeks of the baby leaving bright red tracks and occasionally causing rush and fever. But sometimes scarlet fever can be the main cause of the skin and fever problems. It is an infection that causes sore throats leading to scarlet red bumpy rashes that will appear on the neck and face of the infant and will slowly spread to the chest and back.

Home treatment can be considered as a good choice if the child's cough and rash do not have a serious look. The cough of the infant should be treated with the special children medications such. Scrubbing or scratching the child's rashes must be strictly avoided. Gentle cleansers need to be applied to the child's skin that will calm the itchiness of the skin. If there is a special treatment required for the child, the doctor needs to be consulted. |
